Chelsea captain John Terry wants to clear his name after hearing that the Football Association are going to investigate claims by QPR defender Anton Ferdinand that the England skipper racially abused him.

Terry came out after the game saying he did not abuse Ferdinand and after hearing about the investigation he said: “I welcome the FA enquiry and look forward to clearing my name.”

it had also been claimed that viewers said that video replays showed Terry using racist language.
