The 19-year-old dreams of following in his hero and countryman Didier Drogba footstep’s and join Chelsea.
The young striker left Africa two years ago, for a move to Portugal where he linked up with academic Coimbra and has already moved into the senior squad after impressing at youth level.
Whilst he wants to move to London, it is the French trio of Marseille, Rennes and big spending Paris St Germain who have all been linked with a move for the highly rated youngster.
After being asked about his future Cissoko said: “I am flattered by reports I am hearing about European teams interested in me.
“Chelsea and Marseille are so massive for me and my hero, Didier Drogba, played for the two of them and I loved these two clubs so we will see.
Before going on to admit: “But, I want to score goals and get noticed by other big teams.
And finished by acknowledging: “In January or the end of the season, we will see, but when Chelsea or Marseille comes you do not think twice.”
Yes, there are currently a lot of striking options at the club it is always good to bring in young players, even if they have to be sent out on loan for a little while.
