Young Adam Phillip, 20, had been hoping for a big season but once again finds himself injured.
This should have been a big season for the reserve team player, but after another major set-back, it is unlikely he will play anytime soon.
He announced on his twitter account (@aphillip14):
Had a horrible landing today in training and have just found out I’ve done my cruciate and medial ligaments and I’m out for 6-9 months 🙁
It is really sad news, at 20 years-old, it would have been the right time to go out on loan and gain some first-team experience but unfortunately that will have to wait.
