Josh called-up to the England Under-21 squad

Josh McEachran has been named in Stuart Pearce’s squad to face Azerbaijan on September 1 at Watford before taking on Israel in a friendly at Barnsley four days later.
Despite not featuring in the first two games of the season, the young Blue has impressed enough in pre-season to warrant a place in the squad.
After a disappointing summer Under-21 championship, Pearce will be looking to get off to a winning start, and utilizing Josh in the centre of midfielder would be a help.
He will be up against Liverpool’s big buy Jordan Henderson, plus talented pair Henri Lansbury and Jack Rodwell for a starting place.
