IF WE DON’T BUY WE CAN WIN, BUT…

If we don’t buy one of Modric, Mata or Nasri or someone of similiar quality who plays as an attacking midfield player, with the management ability of AVB and Di Matteo we can still win the league.
United are going to depend on their winning mentality and luck to beat us, which might not be enough to beat as he has both in abundance.
Arsenal are mourning the loss of their stars and face a very difficult season, though they don’t seem to realize that they can do better now with injury prone Fabregas gone.
Man City is the menace, we allowed them to buy too many players we should have bought – Top performers like Milner, Y. Toure, Tevez, Silva, and now Aguero. It’s going to be difficult to beat them to the title due to their depth.
However, I am sure that if AVB keeps his house in order then the Chelsea squad will play like a single unit and beat the other contenders to the title, including Liverpool and Spurs. We have an air-tight defence; with Terry looking fresh and Cech priming for his best season, we could win the title from the back.
Torres promised to come good and now only an injury lay-off can stop him. He is dedicated to the club and I want to use this opportunity to thank Chelsea fans for not giving up on the Spaniard. He will most likely be our best player of the season. With Torres, Sturidge, Lukaku, Drogba, Anelka, and Kalou our forward line will be a menace to opposing defenders.
It is common knowledge that we need to strengthen our midfield, this is our weak-point and to win AVB must convert it to our strength.
This present midfield with new signing Romeu the Blues can win the league. We have Josh, Lampard, Ramieres, Mikel, Benayoun, Romeu, Bosingwa and Luiz.
Josh should start in games, even the Champions league. We keep making the mistake of leaving that boy out, he is presently the best bet we have. We must take the risk of giving him the responsibility, like Wilshere’s been given at Arsenal – I’m sure he will not let us down. Start Josh, even if it means playing a five-man midfield at times like Mourinho did.
Must Ivanovic fight with Bosingwa, play the Serbian as right full back and then Bosingwa ahead of him as a right midfielder lets see the result. It’s worth trying, if we don’t have any luck with the wingers we are looking to sign. It could work perfectly, he is a great versatile player. When he stepped-in for Cole against Barcelona, he gave Messi a hard time.
Now the David Luiz provides a question, is he better suited as a defender or a midfielder? I think he is both, if we want to play with two holding midfielders in any match, it makes perfect sense to use him as one. The Brazilian started as a number 10, he has energy and drive to outdo Essien in his glory – we just have not seen it yet.
With AVB looking at these guys as midfield-fillers I think it will enable us to mount a serious title challenge. Admittedly it will leave us stretched in no other new players are signed, but if we focus who knows what will happen. The current squad shows that there is a lack of depth, we do not have enough quality substitutes like the Mourinho era. It would be unfair to AVB, if we do not splash the cash, he needs a Modric and Nasri or Mata. If spurs won’t sell, then we need to get someone who wants to come and whose club are willing to deal.
Pay 30 million euros for Mata and get Nasri or Modric, for the latter we should take drastic steps so that Spurs are not able to say no. If we don’t get these guys for AVB, no one should say he failed. He just can’t compete on two major fronts with this squad, and to choose to compete on just one front is beneath us.
