Former Blues’ boss Carlo Ancelotti has said he is not going to manage big spending Paris Saint-Germain this season.
There were mounting rumours linking Ancelotti with the head coach’s position. Current boss Antoine Kombouare’s contract expires in 2012, he is under immense pressure to succeed since the Qatar Investment Authority took over PSG.
With an opening day defeat against Lorient, further pressure has been piled on Kombouare’s shoulders and he could leave in the near future.
As for Carlo, he had vowed to take a 12-month break from football following his dismissal by the Blues, but his old friend and Milan teammate Leonardo, who is now PSG’s sporting director, was believed to be keen on bringing him to Paris.
