Chelsea – Time to Attack!!!

CHELSEA FC are famously known all over the world for playing ATTACKING FOOTBALL, in the past, present and it will continue to be in the future.
Our records also show of that. Some of you may not be aware, so I am going to start off pointing out some of our glorious achievements:
1) Cheslea beat Hautcharage 21-0 on aggregate with  in UEFA CUP WINNERS’ CUP in 1971, which is still the biggest ever margin win in any European competition.
2) The Blues are the only top flight side to score more than 100 goals in a single season in England.
A key factor in the appointment of Andres Villas Boas is his attacking mentality, he will Chelsea to attack, attack and attack some more so we can move forward with our legacy.
Take a look at AVB’s Porto team last season, they scored an incredible 145 goals in 58 matches in all competitions; it was the result of the young coach’s attacking mentality. He has already told ‘Chelseatv’ that he take the likes of Guardiola for his lessons and not from his old mentor and friend Mourinho whose mentality is defence, defence and defence.
AVB has make his intention clear by making stating the he will make his team to attack, even if they
concede one or two goals. Last season the Blues lacked in the attacking area, this season they will need to be mentally strong, whilst showing lots of charisma. AVB’ knows many of the players from his previous stint with Chelsea when he worked under Mourinho.
AVB knows how to get the best out of his players and tends to build a good rapport with them. The biggest help to him from the  current Chelsea team is that he has already got an excellent nucleus of players like Torres, Lamps and Drogba who have the ability to score 20+ goals a season.
Another positive is that we do not just depend on these three for goals, nearly all team have the ability to score. The behind closed doors game against Wycombe saw the Blues win 3-0 after Benayoun, Torres & Rajkovic all scored. AVB is confident that he will get Torres to ‘score & roar on the pitch’, his goal against the team from Buckinghamshire showed that. I do think AVB is on the right track regarding Chelsea’s future and he can give us the much appreciated Champions League this season.
On a final note, I would not be surprised if Andres Villas-Boas guides Chelsea to the treble in the coming season.
