Blues to move for A.J ???

Andre Villas-Boas is thought to be ready to make a surprise move Manchester City winger Adam Johnson.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

The Portuguese tactician is believed a big fan of the England international, the 24-year-old was not a first-team regular last season, making 31 appearance of which he only started 16.                                                                                                                                              

It is unknown whether Roberto Mancini would be open to selling the player who he often used as a ‘super sub’.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

AVB is keen to GO with his preferred 4-3-3 formation, but there is a clear weakness on the right, a gap that would be filled with A.J.                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Should a fee be agreed, it is likely the player would be keen on a move to the Bridge as he would get to feature more.
