Who, Where and When … Stoke up first

Since the minute the season ended, fans everywhere eagerly awaited for the start of the new season, whilst that is still two months away we now know whose playing who and when.

The Blues get the season started against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium, they will want to improve on April’s performance when Carlo’s side could only manage 1-1.

The next two games will be home matches against West Brom and promoted Norwich; two games that should see Chelsea get off to a good start.

The first real test will come on the 17th September, when the new manager will take his side to Old Trafford to play United – It will be interesting to see how the team fares, it is important to avoid defeat at all costs.

Arsenal come to the Bridge at the end of October and on the 19th November it is Liverpool’s turn to take on the Blues – Fernando Torres will be looking to show the fans who once adored him what they are missing out on.

On the 20th December, the Blues travel to the Lane to take on Spurs and the Boxing Day fixture sees the visit of neighbours Fulham.

For a change there will be no match against Manchester United in April this season, the return fixture is going to be on the 4th February.

The final run-in will see a tricky ties at Arsenal and Liverpool as well as QPR at home.
